ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agricultural equipment

The leader in agricultural equipment, KUHN (turnover of 461 million EUR in 2004 with 2475 employees), a subsidiary of the Swiss BUCHER INDUSTRIES, has bought the agricultural division of the Brazilian group METASA S/A INDUSTRIA METALURGICA. This division has an annual turnover of 30 million dollars and a staff of 440. The total cost of the operation has not been disclosed.
