EUFOR to launch vast weapon harvest operation in Sarajevo

Brussels, 08/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 21 February, EUFOR troops, the European Union's military mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina, are to launch a vast operation to harvest illegal weapons. The door-to-door harvest operation will be held in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo and will last two weeks, an EUFOR press release states. It will be conducted in partnership with the authorities of Bosnia and Republika Srpska (one of the two Bosnian entities) as well as with the country's police force. “The...
