Commission allows Valeo to buy Engel

Brussels, 08/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised plans of French company Valeo to buy Engel, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls Automotive Electronics SAS (JACE), for an estimated 330 million EUR. Johnson will transfer to Engel its electronic automobile components business (including the design, development, construction and sales of motor control systems and electronic power systems).
