Brussels, 07/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Economic and Social Society (EESC) will be meeting in plenary in Brussels on 9 and 10 February, chaired by Anne-Marie Sigmund, where it will be briefed by Nicolas Schmit, Luxembourg's deputy foreign and immigration minister, on the Luxembourg Presidency programme, and Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, on the Commission's strategic objectives 2005-2009 and its work programme for 2005.
