Brussels, 07/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - By becoming a member on 4 February of the Euro-Mediterranean Investment and Partnership (FEMIP), Greece is increasing support for the economic development of Mediterranean countries of the EU. During the visit to Athens of the EIB Vice President in charge of FEMIP, Philippe de Fontaine Vive, the Greek minister for the economy and finance, Georgios Alogoskoufis, promised that Greece would contribute EUR 2 million to his fund.
