Brussels, 02/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Luxembourg Defence Minister and President-in-Office of the EU Defence Council, Luc Frieden, met Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld in Washington on Monday. The meeting came within the framework of the resolve shown by the Luxembourg EU Presidency to strengthen and consolidate transatlantic links which are “unique and irreplaceable”, a press release states.
