Brussels, 05/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a press release, Germany liberal Silvana Koch-Mehrin says that the European Parliament's ALDE Group received legal advice on Tuesday about the chances of a potential appeal by the European Parliament against the Commission for its decision of 14 December 2004 suspending the excess budget proceedings against France and Germany (see Europe of 15 December, p.12) being successful.
