Luxembourg Presidency wants to get all Council formations to consider sustainability in their work

Brussels, 05/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - It is during the Luxembourg Presidency (on 21 and 22 March 2005) that the European Council will be revising the EU's sustainable development strategy (outlined in Gothenburg in 2001).

The Luxembourg Presidency will be examining the report to be unveiled by the European Commission in February and using it to prepare for the European Council (see Europe of 4 January, p.9), along with the review of the Lisbon Strategy. The Luxembourg Presidency is...
