6 million euros for motorways in Algeria

Brussels, 20/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank agreed on 15 December to grant EUR 4 million from FEMIP (EuroMed Investment and Partnership Facility) for the Algerian motorway system. The Agence Nationale des Autoroutes Algeriennes (ANA) will be provided with technical assistance to build a 26 km stretch of motorway between Bouira and El Adjiba, and improve staff training. The same criteria apply for a EUR 2 million sum provided by the EIB for two technical assistance...
