Brussels, 20/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The EU has finalised separate protocols with Jordan and Egypt, which will adapt the contractual relationship with regard to the new situation following the enlargement of the Union by ten new member states. The protocol to be annexed to the EU-Jordan Association Agreement was approved on 13 December by the Council. The protocol for Egypt was signed on the 20 December in Brussels. Discussions with Tunisia and Morocco are underway.
