On International Day of Action against Violence against Women, Lissy Gröner launches plan to combat violence

Brussels, 25/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Socialist Group of the European Parliament today launched an action programme to mark the International Day of Action against Violence against Women, on 25 November. German Social Democrat Lissy Gröner (who is also Vice-President of Socialist International Women), has launched an e-mail campaign to heighten public awareness of the extent of the problem of domestic violence.
