Arafat's legacy must be paid to management foundation to improve living conditions of Palestinians, Ferber says

Brussels, 16/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - CSU member Markus Ferber has suggested to Commissioner Patten that the "controversial" legacy of Yasser Arafat be paid into a foundation created for improving living conditions, health and education of Palestinians. In a press release, Mr Ferber urges the European Commission to show proof of imagination in this respect.
