European Constitution signed in Campidoglio - Statements by Italian, Dutch and Irish Prime Ministers, outgoing and future Commission Presidents and President of Parliament, in the presence of Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Croatia

Brussels, 28/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Constitution is to be signed during the morning of Friday 29 October in Rome, in the Sala degli Orazi e Curiazi where the six founding countries of the ECSC (France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) signed treaties creating the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom).
