Trade/Development: First Parliament stance on reform of Generalised System of Preferences proposed by European Commission

During the plenary session of the European Parliament on 14 October in Brussels, European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy set out the main reform elements of the EU's Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) as envisaged by the European Commission for the period 2006-2015 (see EUROPE of 15 October, p.7).
