18/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - At the fourth Walter Hallstein Symposium in Frankfurt on 12 November, the first President of the European Central Bank, Wim Duisenberg, will be awarded the Walter Hallstein Prize (Walter Hallstein was the first President of the European Commission) by former German finance minister Theo Waigel.
