18/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance under the Merger Regulation to the acquisition of full control of the German insurer Neue Leben Holding AG by Talanx AG, a German company active in the insurance and asset management sectors which is controlled by HDI Haftplichtverband der Deutschen Industrie V.a.G. (The deal was examined under a simplified review procedure.)
