Galileo Euro-Med Cooperation Office is opened

Brussels, 27/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - Transport Commissioner Loyola de Palacio and Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Ahmed Shafik inaugurated, on Sunday, the Galileo Euro-Med Cooperation Office. The office will aim to prepare countries of the region for possible participation in the Galileo programme and organise activities to promote satellite radio-navigation services in these countries.
