Brussels, 02/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - European elected CSU member Ingo Friedrich has written to President Prodi calling on him to leave it up to the Barroso Commission to draw up the report recommending whether the EU must, or not, open accession talks with Turkey (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.6, on the subject of Commissioner Verheugen's remarks).
