Brussels, 31/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Friday Denmark, following an ultimatum from Canada, agreed to stop fishing for prawns in the waters of the North Atlantic, having gone over its quota set by the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO) quite considerably. According to a press release from Agence France Presse, dated 27 August, Ottawa had threatened to halt access for Danish boats (registered in the Faeroe Islands and Greenland) to Canadian ports.
