Brussels, 26/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - According to the Greek newspaper, To Vima, the future president of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso is expected to bring up in the next few days, with Greek prime minister, Costas Karamanlis, Turkish prospects for beginning European Union accession negotiations. The former Portuguese prime minister is expected to make a private visit to the Greek Head of State on the weekend and then meet him next Monday.
