Objective 100 for new union of Liberals and Centrists in support of Europe

Brussels, 16/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - Officially, but very provisionally, credited with 66 MEPs on Monday, the Liberal group could, with its new composition with centrists, certain Christian Democrats and independents in favour of increased European integration, aim for the symbolic figure of 100 members. At the moment, the Liberals and Centrists are modestly saying that they hope to be "at least 80". The new group will be based on Liberal and Centrist traditions, and could be a kind of...
