Presidency schedules plenty of time on Constitution at IGC, interrupted only by short European Council session and dinner (Thursday evening) on appointments

Brussels, 16/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Irish Prime Minister and current President of the EU, Bertie Ahern, has sent the traditional letter of invitation to his 24 colleagues for the European Council this Thursday and Friday. In it, Mr Ahern explains that he intends to start on Thursday afternoon with an IGC on the Constitution, followed that evening by a dinner devoted to the appointment of the future President of the Commission, and of the Secretary General of the Council plus deputy....
