25 EU Defence Ministers to take stock of developments in European defence on Monday

Brussels, 14/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - The 25 Defence Ministers of the European Union will meet on Monday morning, in the framework of the General Affairs Council, to take stock of developments in the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP). The future European Armaments Agency, "rapid response" capabilities, and the new objectives of the European Union in terms of military capacities by 2010 will be the main dossiers examined (EUROPE of 13 May, p.4).
