Irish Presidency hopes to conclude on several "consumer" and "internal market" dossiers but nothing is certain yet, especially when it comes to Community patent still deadlocked after 13 years of work

Brussels, 14/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Ministers responsible for "Competitiveness", to be held next Monday and Tuesday in Brussels under the chairmanship of Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister Mary Harney, may reach a conclusion on a number of political agreements, especially in the field of consumer protection and internal market policy.
