Brussels, 05/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia and Cyprus have officially stated their intentions of joining the exchange rate mechanism linking their currency to the euro no later than early next year, with a view to adopting the single currency in January 2007.
