04/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Although Poland has just joined the EU, militant Polish ultra-nationalists burned a European flag on Monday, at a demonstration in Gora Swietej Anny (in the south-west of the country). Prior to this auto-da-fe, demonstrators wiped their feet on the flag, saying that the "European dishcloth is just about good enough to wipe our boots on".
