The German-American group DAIMLERCHRYSLER has received clearance from the Chinese authorities for the creation of a joint undertaking with BAIC - BEIJING AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY HOLDING COMPANY. The two partners plan to build a plant for the production of Mercedes cars (E and C category).
