Brussels, 03/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Europêche, the association of national organisations of fishing enterprises of the EU) is to hold the constituent meeting of the Association of Mediterranean fishing professionals from the neighbouring countries of the Mediterranean Basin in Tunis on 7 May 2004. This Association, which will represent fisheries professional from the countries of the region (Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Tunisia, Cyprus...) aims to discuss and reach opinions on problems of resources, management and the environment in the area. It will also aim to develop trade, technical and scientific partnerships between the countries represented.
