Commission allocates 22.5 million euros for humanitarian aid operations

Brussels, 05/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission adopted four decisions totalling 22.5 million euros for humanitarian aid programmes in several countries. The ECHO funds are destined for - Tajikstan: 8 million euros for food water and health services - Sri Lanka: 5.5 million euros for better living conditions for repatriated and internally displaced persons and refugees; - Horn of Africa, Eastern and Central Africa: 9 million euros for humanitarian transport via...
