Brussels, 05/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - As we previously indicated, the European Parliament threw out the European Commission proposal last Thursday which insisted on management measures on fishing resources in the Mediterranean. The plenary therefore followed the line of rapporteur Giorgio Lisi (Forza Italia) and called on the European Commission to present a new proposal at its earliest convenience, which better reflects the expectations of those concerned.
