05/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The new French Foreign Affairs Minister (former European Commissioner) Michel Barnier interviewed on Saturday by Europe 1 on EU/US/ relations, stated that "confidence must be reciprocal, it is not one-way. The United States must also trust Europe and accept that Europe is not simply a regional power, that it has a place at the table of those who (…) are going to have to organise the world in a different way."
