European Free Alliance becomes party

Brussels, , 18/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - During its general assembly on 25 - 26 March in Barcelona, the European Free Alliance (EFA), which brings together regionalist and nationalist parties, decided to found a European political party. EFA is presided by the Flemish regionalist Nelly Maes and has nine MEPs. These include MEPs from the Scottish Nationalist Part and nationalist parties from Wales, Catalonia, Basque Country, Flanders, Galicia and Aragon.
