08/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Four of the ten accession countries have now named their representative at Eurojust, the office for cooperation between European prosecutors and magistrates, to facilitate cooperation in trans-national inquiries. They have been named as Pavel Zeman (Czech Republic), Roland Tilindis (Lithuania), Jerzy Iwanicki (Poland) and Peter Padula (Slovakia). The six other accession countries have provisionally named 'contact points' within their judiciary authorities, but still have to appoint their representative for the headquarters in the Hague. The representatives will be presented at a press conference on Tuesday at the Eurojust headquarters. Eurojust was set up in March 2002.
