Brussels, 08/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is to take its decision regarding Microsoft on 24 March after a last consultative meeting with competition experts on Monday 22, AFP states. At the present time, there is still stalemate between the Commission and the US group over the subject of Media Player, the multimedia software reader automatically integrated in Windows. Microsoft is said to still be refusing to propose a version of Windows which does not have Media Player.
