Brussels, 18/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Third European Business Summit (EBS) is to take place on 11 and 12 March this year in Brussels. Organised by the "Fédération des entreprises de Belgique" (FEB) in cooperation with European business leaders (UNICE) and the European Commission, this third summit is expected to bring together over 1,000 business leaders, political decision-makers and others interested in establishing dialogue on the theme "research and innovation: a European strategy for more growth and jobs". European Commissioners Philippe Busquin (Research Policy) and Antonio Vitorino (Justice and Home Affairs) as well as the President of the Interministerial Commission for the follow-up of the Lisbon European Strategy, Professor Maria Joao Rodrigues, and UNICE Secretary General Philippe de Buck will attend the forum.
