13/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - After a meeting with Carla del Ponte, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), on Wednesday in Brussels, Javier Solana, EU High Representative for CFSP, said: "Our meeting gave us an opportunity to become more familiar with progress made in work at the Tribunal and allowed me to share my concerns with Carla del Pointe on matters she has raised. The European Union is fully committed in favour of the ICTY's important work and its success. Once more, I give my full support to the ICTY Prosecutor, Carla del Ponte. It is the responsibility of all countries of the region to fully cooperate with the ICTY and to do their best to arrest, and help to arrest, all the indictees still being sought".
