13/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Lista Bonino MEP Gianfranco Dell'Alba details in a press release the leaks to the German media (Die Welt), French media and Israeli media that the European Anti-Fraud Office OLAF has concluded in its investigation into allegations of theft of European aid for the Palestinian Authority that European money put at the disposal of Arafat may have ended up in the coffers of the Al Aksa terrorist organisation and subsidised Arafat's wife's expensive lifestyle in Paris. OLAF's report will be officially unveiled on 10 March to the working group on the aid for Palestine, notes the Italian Radical. (See EUROPE of 10 February, p.18, on the statement by OLAF on 6 February that the investigation had not been concluded and any conclusions attributed were therefore 'premature').
