Decision on Lagardère could be taken on 7 January

Brussels, 17/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission may give its decision concerning the purchase of Editis by Lagardère from 7 January 2004, it was announced by AFP. After intensive discussion with Lagardère and commitments taken by the latter to agree to major concessions, the Commission now sees the deal in a favourable light.
