Parliament requests Heads of State and governments to bury their differences to get balanced result

Brussels, 05/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - By adopting a common resolution submitted by four political groups (EPP-Ed, PES, ELDR, Greens/EFA) by 346 votes in favour, 106 against and 58 abstentions on the work of the Intergovernmental Conference, the European Parliament on Thursday in Brussels launched an appeal to Head of State and Governments to continue their efforts and get over their differences in order to obtain a result that was both balanced and positive for 13 December.
