ACP countries work towards relaunching WTO negotiations in respect of Doha commitments - insist that African cotton problem is treated separately

Brussels, 28/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The group of ACP countries (Africa, Caribbean, Pacific) will continue to participate actively and constructively to the post-Cancun process in view of gaining a satisfactory conclusion to negotiations in the framework of the Doha work programme. However, with regard to the slowness of the negotiations, it is said to be worried by the risk of missing the deadline on 1 January 2005.
