Netherlands is found guilty of having ill-managed fight against swine fever in 1977

Luxembourg, 25/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Justice has found the Netherlands guilty of having ill-managed the fight against so-called "classical" swine fever in 1977. Due to the ill management, the Commission rightly decided to cut off 25% of financial aid for a total of EUR 110 million for combating this epizootic, the Court explains.
