Luxembourg, 25/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Justice has ruled that Spain must pay a fine of EUR 624,150 for each year it has failed to comply with the 1998 Court ruling whereby it must ensure that the quality of inshore bathing water in Spanish territory confirms to the limit values set in accordance with the 1976 Directive.
