Commissioner Barnier calls for postponement of communication on financial perspectives and cohesion report till January

Brussels, 25/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Commissioner Michel Barnier is calling for the postponement of the two documents being prepared by the European Commission for Agenda 2007: the communication on the next financial perspectives and the third report on cohesion. After having cancelled the discussion planned at the College last Wednesday, it appears that the Commission is moving towards a postponement in order to tone things town at IGC discussions on treaty reform.
