EUR 11.5 million for different countries

Brussels, 25/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has recently pledged to provide over EUR 11.5 million from the Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO). The funds are distributed as follows:

People's Republic of Korea (€4.5 million) to improve the water and sanitation provision, Georgia (€2.2 million) humanitarian needs for people at risk, particularly the elderly and displaced persons in Abkhazia in the west of the country, East Timor (€2 million) for the population affected by...
