France requests more promotion measures for truffle production in EUROPE

Brussels, 18/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - During discussion on one of the "various points" at the Agriculture Council, France, supported by Italy and Spain drew attention to the need for greater promotion of truffle cultivation in Europe. France indicated that it supported funding for this cultivation through rural development programmes in view of improving research in this sector (improvement of the quality of yield, experience in reconstituting European truffle groves and work on defining...
