Critical report by Court of Auditors on Life II instrument will fuel Cocobu work

Brussels, 05/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The critical report by the Court of Auditors on implementation of LIFE, the Community's financial instrument for the environment for 1996-97 (EUR 435 million allocated), highlights problems in management and financing as well as shortcomings in the diffusion of results but does not question the validity of this instrument.
