Brussels, 05/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, Commissioner Franz Fischler announced that in order to improve cereal production at the EU following this summer's heatwave, the European Commission is expected to adopt on 12 November, a proposal to bring down the level of land that is left fallow down from 10% to 5% for the next trade cycle.
