Brussels, 04/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - As agreed during the Eurogroup, the Ecofin Council decided on Tuesday, at a proposal by the Italian Presidency, to postpone until 24 and 25 November the discussion on the French public deficit (see above). This seems to meet with the satisfaction of most Member States but not with that of the European Commission.
