Viviane Reding specifies content of new Directive on future of European audivisual policy

Brussels, 04/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - Taking stock of the "Television Without Borders" Directive (TVWB) and the results of the consultation launched into its revision (see, amongst others, EUROPE of 20 March, p.15), during parliamentary meetings on audiovisuals, in Paris on 4 November, European Commissioner Viviane Reding confirmed her intentions of proposing the European Commission's adoption, by the end of the year or early next year, of a communication on "The future of audiovisual...
