27/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Council of the EU has given the green light to the signing of the EU/China agreement on Galileo during the summit in Peking on 30 October. The agreement, approved without debate in a backdrop to the Environment Council, predicts Chinese participation in the joint enterprise to the tune of EUR 200 million. EUROPE . will be returning to this issue.
